Privacy policy

Pints & Prospects ("we", "me") is a UK-based sales consultancy operated by Matthew Banks. This policy explains what personal data is collected when you use pintsandprospects.co.uk and the services linked from it, and how it is used.

What we collect

  • Booking details. If you book a call through Cal.com, they collect your name, email address and anything you add to the booking form, and share it with me so I can run the call. See Cal.com's privacy policy.
  • Email. If you email me, I'll have your email address and whatever you send. Email is provided by Google Workspace.
  • Hosting logs. This site is hosted on Netlify, which may process standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site. See Netlify's privacy policy.

What we don't do

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and no advertising trackers. I don't sell your data or share it with anyone except the service providers named above, who process it on my behalf.

How your data is used, and the lawful basis

Your data is used to run the calls and sessions you book, reply to your messages, and deliver any services you engage me for. You won't be added to a mailing list without asking for it.

  • Contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)): handling bookings, running sessions you've signed up for, and delivering services, including the steps leading up to an engagement.
  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): replying to enquiries, keeping business records, and running the free Happy Hour sessions and podcast.

International transfers

Cal.com, Google and Netlify are US-based providers, so your data may be processed outside the UK. Each transfers data under recognised UK safeguards, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.

How long it's kept

Correspondence and booking records are kept for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal and accounting obligations, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, or ask for it in a portable format. No automated decision-making or profiling happens here. Email matt@pintsandprospects.co.uk and I'll sort it within a month. If you're not happy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
